Happy New Year!

I honestly can't believe its 2012.  And I'm equally excited. January comes and I feel fresh and ready to start the new year! December is busy in my world.....two birthdays in my house, Christmas, annual family getaway. So I always like to take a great big deep breath come January.

We spent the last week in the mountains. It was lovely. A total disconnect from the outside world and time of rejuvination. Family time, play, long walks, reading, crafting, cooking, movie days and nights, relaxing and reconnecting! I dig it there. My entire family does.

As the new year begins, I feel grateful. Grateful for so many things. And I look forward to the year ahead and special moments it will hold!

This blog has become so so fun for me. Its a place to share the story of the amazing people I photograph......family, friends, strangers (who become friends)....and a way to document my own story.....my family story and my journey in photography! I LOVE IT!
